See The Beauty Of Crocheting

Crocheting:
The Most Beautiful Craft

For some crochet is noodles and is complicated.
But once you get out of the fear and the confusion
it turns out to be the easiest thing.

When I tried to learned for the first time it was a MESS,
O.M.G. I turned that yarn into knots.
I wanted to quit but my heart really wanted to keep trying.
So I continued...
And I finally learned
Think of crocheting as making a braid
but with a crochet needle and some yarn...

I made this nice little table mat for my daughter's
chest because she throws her toys up there and
scratches the wood!!!
So I figured something thick and long & wide
will work to cover most of it.
And trust me it was a good success.
No More Scratches, Yay Lol.

I made a short video to give you some
of an idea of how to do the simple 2 braids stitch
& 3 braids stitch.
Don't get overwhelmed if it gets hard,
keep trying, it's worth the hard work!!!

Awesome!!! hope everyone enjoyed my post today.
Please leave your thoughts & if you get to learn from this
please share your work I will love to see your amazing work too!!!

A Bit Of Me

A Day Of Me:

Hello My Name is Olga, and I'm 26 years old.
I'm happily married and I have the most amazing daughter.
And like any other marriage and family, we have our ups and downs
but we fight through them together.

I strongly believe that god puts tests in our paths to mold us to
be better for the ones we love and most importantly
for our self.
No one is perfect but we work hard to make
our self the best we can be!!!

The reason why I created this blog is to show
what I can do and inspire others to be the best they can
be through the craft, the art, or the food.

If I can do it, you can do it too!
All you need is inspiration and I'm willing to inspire.
I might not be perfect but no one is.

I've been struggling with migraines my whole
life, there are days that it takes the best of me.
But I try my hardest not to let it.
Because I have to care for my family and how it
affects them to see me sick, and is a horrible feeling
to feel so sick that you don't want to move.
But I keep going until I can't no more.

All I wanted by posting this was to give you guys
an opportunity to know me a little bit and to
give you hope and inspiration!!!

May all have an amazing day
And let's inspire!!!!

And I didn't give up
It is not as complicated as it looks.

My daughter loves to help me outside

You don't have to only have flowers
How about some vegetables

what i wanted to do with it!!!

The Layout came out more beautiful than I thought.
I was so happy when I saw it after I was done
So proud of my work!!!

I Chose to plant chili peppers, it took a
longer time for them to grow but when I saw my first chili

Simplicity At It's Best

Nail Art -
Sometimes we as busy mommy's
don't have the time to go get our nails done!!!

Well this is just a cute idea if you have to attend a family get together
or just to be home.

It's okay to be simple, this style is very easy to do and looks beautiful !!

I did these yesterday, because I didn't really have anything else to
do at home. So I decided to do my nails..lol

The little feathers, I got them online at
www.bornprettystore.com
they have a big variety so feel free to check it out!!!
And for an awesome price!!!

And for nail polishes I used Pure Ice Home Run And Scream.
And for the top coat Seche Vite (Fast dry coat)

Enjoy Craftiniers!!!

Please comment & share your pics if you decided to make these.

Create A Picture Collage!!!

     Let's Create A Picture Collage!!!
It's Fun & Very Creative

I wanted to have a picture collage in my daughter's room
so she could build her memories as she grows.
And of course her room has a theme
"Sofia The First" and the stores didn't really have
a lot of decorative things of that certain character.

But every time I went to Walmart, Target and Other places
the one's they had were of poor quality and very expensive
for a little 8 by 10 inch frame. ( & I wanted something big for her room),
So I started brainstorming.

Then after a while of getting ideas, I decided to create my own collage!!!
Let's have fun and enjoy

First here are the things you need to create this amazing project
which are as follows:

  • A Cork Board (I got this one in Target. Any size would do, I got mine big because it gives me more space to play with)
  • Fabric ( any texture, except sheer. just make sure you get the right amount/length)
  • Scissors
  • Buttons ( can be assorted, any size & is optional)
  • Thread & Needle (only needed if you get buttons)
  • Ribbon (any size and texture except sheer)
  • Thumb Tacks (any style, or colors)
  • Staple Gun & Staples (you'll find these beauties in Home Depot & even Walmart)
  • A Table to work comfortably ( I prefer the floor, endless space lol)

So Let's Begin With The Fun Part!!!
Okay!!!

For Step 1, 2 & 3- Make sure that the fabric is enough to cover the whole frame
& that it is even. Now when you get that done you grab your staple gun and
start at the top on the very edge. Make sure that you have a good grip
and as you go around the frame that it is nice and tight, because you do not
want it to be loose and flimsy!!! :)

Step 4-  I wanted to show you how nice and tight it looks. (Picture Above)
For Step 5 to 7- You're going to start on the ribbon, you could
set it up however you wish. I like the "X" best, because I could put the
pictures in between and not need a lot of thumb tacks.
Make sure you pull tight before stapling it!!!
(Step 7 is on the picture below)

Step 8- Is the ribbon completed.
Step 9- is the buttons part but is optional. But if you decided to put
some nice buttons then Great!!! You could use any color of thread, I used pink!!
because I didn't have any purple or blue...Lol!!

Step 10- is the buttons sewed to the ribbon. I scattered them around,
they don't have to be in a straight line... decorate how you like!!
Step 11- Is picture time!!!! pick pictures for your collage or
you could put movie tickets, anything you want!!!

And you're Finished!!! Now put it on your wall & admire your Hard Work!!!
Enjoy.

Remember to post your comments or any questions, I'll be more than
happy to help...
& Share your pics on the comments so I could see your master pieces.
